One More Moment Father...

So, I redid "One More Moment Father" for a challenge with the group.

I simply cannot believe it has only been a year and 3 month's since I drew the original. The original was done in March of 2009, and this new version was done tonight (June 4th 2010).

I do hate that I couldn't scan the whole piece. There is more background to it than you can see here, mostly to the left of Shad, but my scanner is not large enough to see it all.

I changed a few things up, I made Kigai's fur darker, much darker in fact. This was in part by accident when I smeared his face by mistake, but I realized it's biological significance. Arctic wolves are born with a gray, almost black coat, so the color change would actually be more appropriate.
Another thing I forgot to add in was Kigai's collar, I may add that in eventually.

And no, Shad is not crying. That mark, and many of the other random marks on his body are scars from previous fights.
