Description

I'm uploading this mainly for critique, I want to know what people think about this technique.

Hell has not frozen over, I have touched digital media. This is not common, in fact it's downright rare, but as I've learned with this piece, it helps me learn a few things about shading.

I took this piece into gimp (photoshop doesn't run well on my computer) and added the green effects and shaded Rheel a little bit.

I like the effect this gives off at first, not so much the detail. I'd really like some feedback though, it's something new for me, and I'm not really good at judging it.

[will be moved to scraps later]

I'm loving the reflection of the green light on the wolf's face. You got the emotions down really well on the face, too. The ears and mouth and eyes tell the viewer what the wolf is feeling. I like the way that you did the fur on the wolf on the right, but I would have maybe blended the green glow-y one into the background more. It sort of makes the illusion that it's maybe not really there. The background is good, but if you were to change it up a bit (smooth out the lines perhaps?) it would really bring the entire piece together. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> Great job though!
